Following its tradition to present to the business the latest developments related to the public procurement procedures, LEGA CONSULTING Law Firm organized its Seventh National Seminar “THE PRACTICE OF THE PUBLIC PROCUREMENT PROCEDURES”. The event enjoyed considerable attention and presented important moments and problems related to the organization and execution of the public procurement procedures, the requirements to the applicants and the assignees and the current developments of the legislation related to the appeals against the public procurement procedures. The lectures was held by the representatives of the PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AGENCY, the COMMISSION FOR PROTECTION OF COMPETITION and Mr. Pavel N. Tzanev – Managing Partner at LEGA CONSULTING.

LEGA CONSULTING was among the firms that supported the Third National Seminar: “PARTICIPATION IN ENERGY, INFRASTRUCTURAL AND CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS FUNDED BY THE EU FUNDS. CURRENT PROCEDURES UNDER THE OPERATIONAL PROGRAMMES “REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT”, “ENVIRONMENT”, “COMPETITIVENESS”, “TRANSPORT” AND “DEVELOPMENT OF THE RURAL AREAS”. LEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECTS”, which was held in Sofia city, “Saint Sofia” hotel. The Seminar presented current projects under the Operational programmes available for implementation, with a focus in the energy, infrastructural and construction sectors. The lectures was held by the representatives of the MINISTRY OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLIC WORKS, MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND WATERS, MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATIONS and LEGA CONSULTING Law Firm.

Due to the newly adopted amendments to the Bulgarian PUBLIC PROCUREMENTS ACT, LEGA CONSULTING Law Firm organized its Fourth National Seminar: “LATEST AMENDMENTS TO THE PUBLIC PROCUREMENT ACT. PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS OF THE PROCEDURES FOR ASSIGNING, IMPLEMENTING AND APPEALING PUBLIC PROCUREMENT”. The main topic of the event were the latest amendments to the Public Procurement Act, promulgated in SG issue 52/09.07.2010, which were brought to implement into the Bulgarian legislation the stipulations of Directive 2007/66/ЕC of the European Parliament and of the Council. The event enjoyed considerable interest with presentations being delivered by the representatives of the PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AGENCY, the COMPETITION PROTECTION COMMISSION and by Mr. Pavel N. Tzanev – Managing Partner at “LEGA CONSULTING”.

The Third National Seminar: “PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS OF THE PROCEDURES FOR ASSIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING PUBLIC PROCUREMENT. FORTHCOMING AMENDMENTS TO THE PUBLIC PROCUREMENT ACT”, was organized and held by LEGA CONSULTING Law Firm. The event attracted over 50 attendees and the topics of the event included: important problems of the procedures for assigning and implementing public procurement, legislative requirements to the applicants and participants in the public procurement procedures, forthcoming amendments to the public procurement act. The lectures were delivered by the representatives of the PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AGENCY, the SUPREME ADMINISTRATIVE COURT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA and Mr. Pavel N. Tzanev – Managing Partner at LEGA CONSULTING.

LEGA CONSULTING was among the companies that provided support for the organization of the National Two-Day Seminar “FINANCE, INVESTMENTS, EUROPEAN FUNDS”. The aim of the event was to present before the participants, the most suitable ways for financing corporate activities or specific projects under the present economic environment. As most suitable ways for securing financing, the presentations focused on leasing, factoring, financing projects under state programmes and European funds. Among the other interesting subjects of the event was the problem of inter-company indebtedness and its possible solutions. The lectures on the event were delivered by representatives of TBI LEASING, DS CONCEPT FACTORING, MINISTRY OF FINANCE, the COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA, BULGARIAN INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION and LEGA CONSULTING. The event was organized by INTER ACCOUNT Financial Services and was also supported by INTER CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT, DS CONCEPT FACTORING and JCI BULGARIA (part of JCI INTERNATIONAL).
