18-20 June, 2008 „Lega Consulting“ with the cooperation of the Chamber of builders in Bulgaria organized seminar on „Current problems of construction investment process and construction legislation. Mr Pavel Tzanev, managing partner at „Lega Consulting“, delivered lecture on „Legal requirements to the activities of Investors, Construction companies, Project Designers and Consultants in construction process. The other speakers were the deputy head of the National Construction Supervision Directorate (NCSD) at the Ministry of Regional development and Public Works (MRDPW) and the Head of the Construction Department at NCSD.   27 May, 2008 Mr Pavel Tzanev, managing partner at „Lega Consulting“, took active part in the conference „Private equity in Bulgaria and SouthEast Europe“, held in Sheraton hotel, Sofia.   24-25 April, 2008 “Lega Consulting” together with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Bulgaria organized a seminar on „New changes in tax legislation“, held in Sofia. Mr Pavel Tzanev, managing partner at „Lega Consulting“, delivered lecture on „Taxation of transactions related to plots of land, construction rights, buildings and parts of buildings“. Mr Peter Iliev – an attorney-at-law and partner at „Lega Consulting“, delivered lecture on „Legal framework of VAT on transactions related to land, buildings and parts of buildings. VAT in the construction sector. Legal regulations of VAT related to transfers of business enterprises and executing in kind contributions in the capital of companies“. The other lecturers were official representatives of the „Tax policy“ Directorate at the Ministry of Finance and Central Department of the National Revenue Agency.   April, 2008 The professional legal expertise of “Lega Consulting” was highly recognized for a third consecutive by the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy and Energy Resources through its InvestBulgaria Agency which assigned to the lawyers of “Lega Consulting” the preparation of the legal analysis on the regulatory regime of the Energy sector in Bulgaria for 2008. The result of the legal work was published in the official Legal Guide issued by InvestBulgaria Agency.   16-19 April, 2008 Mr Pavel Tzanev, managing partner at „Lega Consulting“, conducted partner meetings in the City of London. Opportunities for invetsments in the Real Estate Sector via financial instruments.“ The participants in this high level international event were outstanding representatives of real estate investment funds, construction companies, law firms, consulting firms, tax consulting companies.   17 January, 2008 Mr Pavel Tzanev, managing partner at „Lega Consulting“, took part in the bulgarian-turkish business forum, organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.   14 December, 2007 Mr Pavel Tzanev, managing partner at „Lega Consulting“, was invited to be a leading speaker and delivered lecture at the city zoning seminar „New investment opportunities in relation to the provisions of the Act on zoning and construction in Sofia municipality. New amendments to the General master plan of Sofia.“, held in park-hotel „Moskva“, Sofia. The other speakers in this event were the prominent master planning architects of Sofia municipality.   November, 2007 Mr Peter Iliev – an attorney-at-law and partner at „Lega Consulting“, and Stoyan Stavru published their book „Public real rights“. This is the first perfect and complete theory on public real rights in the Bulgarian legal doctrine.   23 October, 2007 Mr Peter Iliev – an attorney-at-law and partner at “Lega Consulting”- was a speaker at the International Conference “The Biofuels market in SouthEast Europe” at Sheraton Hotel, Sofia. He delivered a presentation on “Legal framework of biofuels – european and national aspects” and concentrated on business related legal issues regarding the sector of ecoenergy, renewable energy sources, biofuels, legal structuring of ecoenergy projects.   6-8 October, 2007 The managing partner of “Lega Consulting” - Mr Pavel Tzanev took active part in EXPO REAL FORUM in Munich, Germany.
