LEGA CONSULTING was among the companies that provided support for the organization of the National Two-Day Seminar “FINANCE, INVESTMENTS, EUROPEAN FUNDS”. The aim of the event was to present before the participants, the most suitable ways for financing corporate activities or specific projects under the present economic environment. As most suitable ways for securing financing, the presentations focused on leasing, factoring, financing projects under state programmes and European funds. Among the other interesting subjects of the event was the problem of inter-company indebtedness and its possible solutions. The lectures on the event were delivered by representatives of TBI LEASING, DS CONCEPT FACTORING, MINISTRY OF FINANCE, the COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA, BULGARIAN INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION and LEGA CONSULTING. The event was organized by INTER ACCOUNT Financial Services and was also supported by INTER CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT, DS CONCEPT FACTORING and JCI BULGARIA (part of JCI INTERNATIONAL).

Following the implementation of its strategy to provide the more complete and detailed legal consulting services, LEGA CONSULTING Law Firm commenced offering specialized legal consulting services for Private Equity Firms. ASSIGNING ACTIVITIES FINANCED BY THE FUNDS THROUGH PUBLIC PROCUREMENT”. Mr. Pavel N. Tzanev – Managing Partner at LEGA CONSULTING delivered a lecture on “RISK MANAGEMENT IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ENERGY, INFRASTRUCTURAL AND CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS – FINANCED BY THE EU FUNDS” Among the other lecturers on the event were representatives of the MINISTRY OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLIC WORKS, MINISTRY OF ECONOMY, ENERGY AND TOURISM, MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND WATERS and the PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AGENCY.

Mr Pavel Tzanev, managing partner at „Lega Consulting“, delivered lecture on „Legal requirements to the activities of Investors, Construction companies, Project Designers and Consultants in construction process. The other speakers were the deputy head of the National Construction Supervision Directorate (NCSD) at the Ministry of Regional development and Public Works (MRDPW) and the Head of the Construction Department at NCSD.

Mr Peter Iliev – an attorney-at-law and partner at „Lega Consulting“, delivered lecture on „Legal framework of VAT on transactions related to land, buildings and parts of buildings. VAT in the construction sector. Legal regulations of VAT related to transfers of business enterprises and executing in kind contributions in the capital of companies“. The other lecturers were official representatives of the „Tax policy“ Directorate at the Ministry of Finance and Central Department of the National Revenue Agency.

The professional legal expertise of “Lega Consulting” was highly recognized for a third consecutive by the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy and Energy Resources through its InvestBulgaria Agency which assigned to the lawyers of “Lega Consulting” the preparation of the legal analysis on the regulatory regime of the Energy sector in Bulgaria for 2008. The result of the legal work was published in the official Legal Guide issued by InvestBulgaria Agency.
